The funding contract that has come to an end was paying for the after-school meals at K2 and K3, some food parcels, school uniforms (at the start of the school year in January), and other child-related costs. The Project have decided that the after-school meals are the main priority, at a cost of about R4,000pm (approx. £250). Masoyi Trust (UK) has committed to meet half of that amount, praying that God will enable us to deliver! The reality is that some children now have no food security at all, and are reduced to begging from neighbours.
