Peer Education Facilitators

From August’s Report:

“Facilitators are responsible for delivering skills training sessions, and conducting mentoring sessions to peer educators. Facilitators complete activity planning and reviewing tools, and also assist peer educators with planning their activities, including talk groups and lesson deliveries. They report on schools’ weekly activities during our team meetings, and they take part in programme events planning and delivering. Facilitators also liaise with community stake holders, youth group programmes, and school linkage teachers.

“With the current coronavirus, facilitators are working to assist schools with sanitizing, checking temperatures of learners and educators, and ensuring learners are maintaining social distancing in school.”
